Mr. Toh Kok Kwang (1st from left), founder and Managing Director of Kaliman Timber Corporation Sdn. Bhd., one of the leading sawn timber and timber base products exporter in Sarawak, Malaysia was awarded one of the winners for the Most Promising Entrepreneurship Award 2009 at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (“APEA”) 2009 Malaysia. Toh was conferred at a gala dinner and official awards ceremony held last night at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

APEA is a world-class award recognizing and honoring business leaders who have shown outstanding performance and tenacity in developing successful businesses within the region as judged by an independent judging panel. Judging from both quantitative and qualitative criteria, the winners of the Most Promising Entrepreneurship Award are entrepreneurs that have displayed outstanding accomplishment and have the vision and plan to lead their companies to become leading businesses in the near future.
